The OSL app provides a convenient platform for purchasing transportation tickets within the Oulu Region, including single, daily, and 30-day season tickets. Users can buy multiple tickets simultaneously through a single transaction, with secure payment options such as Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard debit or credit cards, mobile payments, and MobilePay.

Immediately upon purchase, tickets are activated and displayed via a QR code along with the remaining validity period. To commence travel—whether on a single bus or transferring between buses—users need only present the QR code on the bus ticket reader located at the bottom of the bus, ensuring a seamless boarding experience.

Tickets are valid for travel across all buses within the Oulu Region transport network, which encompasses Ii, Kempele, Liminka, Lumijoki, Muhos, Oulu, and Tyrnävä.

The application also enhances travel planning through features such as an integrated travel guide and real-time bus location tracking on an interactive map. The app can identify your current location and provide pertinent information on nearby bus lines, stops, routes, and schedules. Additionally, the "Home" tab offers updates on service disruptions or exceptions to ensure informed travel decisions.
